Operating Hours Reduced at Disney World Theme Parks Beginning This Weekend

If you’re planning on visiting Walt Disney World, the park hours are shortening as Disney predicts lower crowds following the holiday season. Three of the four Walt Disney World theme parks will have shorter operating hours, with Disney’s Hollywood Studios being the only exception. Here’s a look at the changes:

  • Magic Kingdom (starting Jan. 10): Returns to 7pm closing time (currently 8pm closing time)
  • EPCOT (starting Jan. 10): Returns to 8pm closing time (currently 9pm closing time)
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom (starting Jan. 11): Returns to 5pm closing time (currently 6pm closing time)

As we stated earlier, Disney’s Hollywood Studios doesn’t change its operating hours this weekend. A change to shorter hours is on the schedule, but it’s not going to take place until later this month:

  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios (starting Jan. 24): Returns to 10am opening (currently 9am opening)
